Jubilee edition of the KDB Cup on the 29th & 30th of May, 2021

Who will follow in the footsteps of Chelsea FC as the winner of the fifth edition of the international U15 youth tournament in Drongen?

Unlike the major European football competitions Europa League and Champions League (the final stages of which were recently held in Germany and Portugal), the KDB Cup was impossible to organize safely in Drongen on the 30th and 31st of May, 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, despite an exquisite list of participating teams, including RSC Anderlecht, Club Brugge KV, Chelsea FC, PSV Eindhoven, KRC Genk, KAA Gent, Real Madrid CF, Manchester City FC, Borussia Mönchengladbach, SE Palmeiras, PSG and Tottenham.

However, we very much look forward to 2021 edition. Due to (mostly) sporting and organizational reasons, the organizing committee decided to hold the fifth KDB Cup on the 29th and 30th of May, 2021, instead of the original date of the 22nd and 23th of May (Pentecost weekend).

Take out your agenda and write down the KDB Cup, as a warming up for the European Championship (postponed as well) from the 11th of June, until the 11th of July, all over Europe.
