Due to unforeseen circumstances Manchester City can not participate in the KDB Cup. The organizers of the KDB Cup find it very unfortunate. Manchester City regrets it as well, but has promised to do everything to be there next year.
Manchester City will be replaced by Odense BK. The Danish team was also there at the first edition of the KDB Cup. Their goalie even won the trophy of best goalie of the tournament. With Odense BK, the KDB Cup once again has a Scandinavian representative at the tournament.
