From his recreated youth bedroom in the STAM exhibition Offside, a ‘young Kevin De Bruyne’ just announced the participants of the KDB Cup 2026. From top Belgian clubs to superpowers from England, Germany, France, the Netherlands and a debutant from Portugal, this year's field of participants also looks impressive. The KDB Cup takes place on 30 and 31 May, tickets are now for sale.
Drongen will once again be the beating heart of international youth football on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026. During the ninth edition of the KDB Cup, twelve top U15 teams from all over Europe will compete. A young Kevin De Bruyne, or at least an actor somewhat like him, just announced the participants from the recreated KDB youth bedroom in the STAM Expo Offside.

Top Belgian and Portuguese debutant
Four Belgian regulars are also defending the national honour this time: KAA Gent, Club Brugge KV, KRC Genk and RSC Anderlecht. Sporting CP then makes its debut at the KDB Cup again. The top Portuguese club from Lisbon has one of the best youth academies in Europe and produced players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Quaresma. Currently, Red Devil and former KDB Cup winner Zeno Debast is under contract there.
Dutch and English tradition clubs
With AFC Ajax and PSV Eindhoven From the Netherlands, two strong representatives will again travel to the tournament. Both youth academies are known for their technical and attacking youth football. Two absolute top clubs are also signing from England: Manchester United and Chelsea FC.
German power and French flair
From Germany, both tradition and youth come along with Borussia Dortmund and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Dortmund is taking part again for the first time since 2022, Leverkusen was also there last year, finishing seventh. Finally, the KDB Cup also welcomes a touch of French flair this year with Paris Saint-Germain.
