Match schedule for 4th edition of KDB Cup is known

Paul Naudts, chairman of KDB Cup, is a happy man. "We have once again managed to put together a magnificent field of participants, with FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC, Feyenoord, Paris Saint-Germain, PSV, Odense BK and of course Kevin's own Manchester City. The Belgian honour is defended by RSC Anderlecht, Club Brugge, KRC Genk and, of course, by de Gantoise, KAA Gent. Our tournament already has a great reputation around the world, we are inundated with requests."

The KDB Cup even received an application from the South Korean Football Federation who wanted to participate along with a delegation from North Korea. "But all the places were already taken. I am very pleased with this success. A fantastic team of volunteers has been working for a year with heart and soul on our event.

Sofie Bracke, since January alderman of Sport in Ghent and present at the draw, is also delighted. "These are home matches for me, I live in Drongen and my son played football here. After three months, it strikes me how many committed people are working behind the scenes at our sports clubs, like here. The KDB Cup is a fantastic tournament that we have supported from the first edition and that will remain so."

De Bruyne first picked the series leaders of the tournament named after him out of the drum himself, in a recorded video message: FC Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC, Manchester City FC and FC Barcelona.

After that it was the turn of the U6 players of KVE Drongen to complete the rest of the match schedule.

In Group A FC Bayern Munich and Feyenoord Rotterdam take on Club Brugge.
In Group B Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain play against RSC Anderlecht.
In Group C Manchester City FC is the employer of KDB, PSV Eindhoven and Racing Genk.
In Group D meet FC Barcelona, Odense BK and KAA Gent.
