The teams for the 7th edition of the KDB Cup are known!

At KDB Cup 2024 (1 & 2 June), we welcome back a lot of old acquaintances to the fields of KVE Drongen. Vedette and all-time champion FC Barcelona is once again at the party. Having won in 2022 AND 2023, they will not only be present as defending champions, but immediately to make it a KDB Cup hat-trick. Definitely one to keep an eye on. No PSG this year, but last year's South American debutant - which also took the bronze - will be back this year. Welcome back, SE Palmeiras!

Of course, the Belgian superpowers cannot be missing. With RSC Anderlecht (2018 winner), Club Brugge KV (4e in 2023), KRC Genk (3e in 2022) & KAA Gent (5e in 2023), our country is strongly represented. Will this be the year Ghent climb above that top five? And can Anderlecht repeat their 2018 stunt and compete for the gold again? In any case, it will be another edition full of ambitions and expectations!

A double threat from Manchester this year. Naturally, Manchester City FC there again. Last year was difficult and she finished in the 11e spot, but this year they are full of energy ready to show what they can do. Rivals Manchester United FC are making their first bid for the KDB Cup title this year. Curious to see how their debut will turn out! Also, Chelsea FC is back! Can they pick up where they finished in 2019? Then they convincingly won our 4e edition!

Not one but two first timers on the 7e edition of our Cup.The Scottish Rangers FC, where Phillippe Clement is achieving impressive results as coach of the first team, descend to the Keiskant complex with their U15 core. Are the boys ready for a showdown with the established players?

Last, but definitely not least are PSV Eindhoven from the north and RB Leipzig from the east. They are both in their second participation (debuting in 2019 and 2023 respectively), but have not played each other at our Cup before. An interesting match-up if you ask us!

These 12 teams will compete against each other during the 7e edition of our annual KDB Cup at the grounds of KVE Drongen. Be sure to drop by on 1 and 2 June to see today's talent and tomorrow's stars at work.
