Which six top teams complete the 2025 KDB Cup line-up?

After we announced the first six teams, the second load of top teams is ready to complete the line-up of KDB Cup 2025. Meet the teams that will face the likes of RSC Anderlecht, Club Brugge and FC Barcelona in Drongen: KAA Gent, KRC Genk, Paris Saint-Germain FC, Lille OSC, FC Bayern Munich and Manchester City FC.

New home match for KAA Gent

Like the other seven editions, KAA Gent also make its appearance at the KDB Cup this year. Of course, the local first division side could not miss out and even made it to the final last year. Does the team dream of more this year?

In addition, the KRC Genk present again. Kevin De Bruyne's other Belgian ex-club has also been there since the first edition in 2016, subject to a sabbatical year in 2023. They complete the Belgian four-leaf clover that participated equally in the Cup in 2024. Can the Limburgers also aim for the final victory for once?

A French bastion

Our southern neighbours deliver double representation at this edition. Paris Saint-Germain FC After a year's absence, a fantastic U15 squad is once again steaming ahead to compete for the final victory. This year, in addition to Parisian football talent, we welcome back Lille OSC at the KDB Cup. Eden Hazard's ex-club is known for its strong youth training and will be at the tournament in Drongen for a second time. Will they steal away the cup this time?

Do the Bavarian bells ring in June?

Apart from Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen, a young Belgian coach is also making his presence felt in Germany. FC Bayern Munich with head coach Vincent Kompany was therefore not to be missed at the KDB Cup 2025. Did a piece of his football philosophy already seep through to the U15s? We will see in late May and early June where we might have to reserve some Bavarian clocks for Bayern's first final victory.

Defending champions Man. City

The last team to complete the impressive list of this KDB Cup was, of course, not to be missed. Manchester City FC will look for a second consecutive final victory in Drongen in 2025. Last year, they put fantastic football on the mat under the approving eye of Kevin De Bruyne himself. Will they manage to do the same this year?

With this mix of top national and international clubs, the KDB Cup 2025 promises to be another unforgettable experience for players, coaches and fans. Which team will crown itself this year's champion? Come and see for yourself during the weekend of 31 May and 1 June! Tickets are available: Tickets KDB Cup 2025
