With a year's delay, the terrains of the East-Flanders' first provincial federation KVE Drongen will be transformed into saturday august 14 and sunday august 15 2021 the setting for the anniversary of the KDB Cup. A collection of (inter)national top clubs are sending their U16 teams, because the corona pandemic made the original plan of 30 and 31 May 2020 with U15 teams impossible.
Chelsea FC, the winner of 2019, is missing on the bill. However, finalist KRC Genk once again signs on, while complete newcomers were added to the participants list with FC Porto, Lille OSC, Juventus and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Herwig De Bruyne, Kevin's father, meanwhile performed the draw together with his grandsons Mason Milian and Rome. From the cups and tubes the following poules emerged.
