Kevin De Bruyne drew for the anniversary edition of his KDB Cup

In between his busy playing and working schedule, the now thirty-year-old turntable of the Citizens in hometown Manchester made time for the draw of the 5th KDB Cup, the renowned international U15 tournament that takes place on May 28 and 29 takes place on the grounds of the East Flanders first-provincial KVE Drongen.

Two of the current semi-finalists in the Champions League (Real Madrid and Manchester City) are sending their greatest youth talents to the Keiskant complex, to the satisfaction of their managers Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola, where a successor is being sought for Chelsea, the last winner of the prestigious event in 2019.
A nice field of participants was assembled, with teams from the four European top competitions (England, Spain, Germany and France) in addition to Dutch and traditional Belgian representatives. The draw by KDB himself produced the following beautiful and most likely spectacular posters.

Group A:
Chelsea (ENG)
Ajax (NED)
Club Brugge (BEL)

Group B:
Manchester City (ENG)
Borussia Dortmund (GER)
KRC Genk (BEL)

Group C:
Barcelona (ESP)
Lille OSC (FRA)
KAA Gent (BEL)

Group D:
Real Madrid (ESP)
PSG (FRA)
RSC Anderlecht (BEL)

The kick-off at the prestigious opening matches Chelsea-Ajax and Manchester City-Borussia Dortmund will be given at 9.30 am on Saturday, May 28. Those who want to witness top soccer will have to be on time together with the (soccer) scouts.
